Alfredo Sauce – half-and-half
- butter 1/2 cup
- cream cheese 8 ounces
- half-and-half cream 8 ounces
- parmesan cheese 1/4 cup
- garlic powder 1 teaspoon
- black pepper (to taste)
1 Melt butter in sauce pan.
2 Add cream cheese and whisk as you add half-and-half.
3 Whisk until smooth adding cheese, garlic powder and pepper.
4 Simmer until heated through.
5 Pour over any pasta you choose, we even liked it on cheese tortellini.
6 Serve with a nice green salad, garlic bread, and a nice glass of wine.
7 Very filling!
How to Make Alfredo Sauce
Mayonnaise often abbreviated as mayo is a thick, creamy sauce often used as a condiment. It originates from Mahon (Spain)
Mayonnaise without eggs
2/3 parts of oil – Olive oil, extra virgin (not for cooking)
1/3 parts of milk – full cream
Salt and sugar (according to taste)
Olive oil – 200 ml
Milk – 100 ml
Salt – pinch
Sugar – 1 tsp
Lemon juice – 2 tsp
Put the Olive oil and milk in a glass jar. Start to blend the mixture at low speed with the hand blender resting at bottom of the jar for approx 15 sec. Slowly move the hand blender up and down until the ingredient thoroughly mixed. Add salt, sugar and lemon juice and mix them manually. The Mayonnaiswe becomes thick and sticky after adding lemon juice. Store the Mayonnaiswe in refrigerator at least 2 hours before use.

Thousand Island Dressing on relish
- mayonnaise 1 cup (220 grams approx)
- ketchup 1/2 cup (120 grams approx)
- sweet pickle relish 1 cup (259 grams approx)
- salt 1 pinch
- ground black pepper 1 pinch
