Definition of Raw Food – Purely Raw
Purely Raw Food is purely plant foods, such as Fruits, Vegetables, Greens, Nuts, Seeds, Grains, etc. excluding foods from animal sources that is no dairy, eggs, or flesh. Raw food has never been subjected to heat over 38 degrees Celsius which is human body temperature. At that temperature, the natural enzymes in food are completely destroyed. Enzymes are essential for all the chemical processes in your body, especially digestion. In addition, nutrients are chemicals, and when these chemicals are heated it causes chemical reactions – the higher the heat, the more volatile, or destructive, the chemical reactions.
